About Brian Bell

footwork revolution NRHA futurityBrian Bell has been thrilling reining audiences from the tender age of 18. His performances combine speed, athleticism a precision – which always add up to winning runs. Brian achieved a significant milestone when he surpassed the Million Dollar Rider mark at the 2013 NRHA Futurity with two horses in the Open Level 4 finals. Already he has won more than 150 NRHA Championships, four world championships and two reserve world championships.

A professional horse trainer since he was a young man, Brian is widely recognized for his accomplishments in the horse show arena. He is an active member of the National Reining Horse Association, the United States Equestrian Federation and the American Quarter Horse Association.

Brian’s natural talent as a horseman became apparent at a young age and he excelled in NRHA youth competition. In 1989 he was the recipient of NRHA 1st Youth Incentive Award based on points won. In 1990 he rode Cee Tina Step to the first of his many world championships, winning the NRHA Youth 14-18 world title. At the tender age of 18, he bested seasoned competitors to win the prestigious All American Quarter Horse Congress Non Pro Futurity.

He moved into the professional ranks in 1995 and quickly made his mark there as well winning several major event titles. Brian’s training operation, now centrally located in the heart of horse country at Cardinal Reining Center in Aurbrey , TX, continues to grow and prosper. He has successfully competed at the highest levels of reining competition, including USET Reining Championship finals, the NRHA Futurity, NRHA Derby, NRBC, All American Quarter Horse Congress and AQHA World Show. He is, quite simply, one of the best showmen in the industry.
