The Senior Reining finals at the AQHA World Championship Show kept Brian quite busy. The fifteen horse finals was held on Saturday night and Brian finished with two horses in the Top Ten. Great Red Chex, owned by MG Reiners, placed sixth and Wimpys Showboat, owned by Amy Anderson, placed tenth. A big thank you to my owners for allowing me to continue showing this two super stallions!
Great Red Chex and Brian do it again! The outstanding pair win another Open at the Ariat Tulsa Reining Classic. Congrats to owner MG Reiners and as always, thank you for the opportunity to show this amazing horse.
Since purchasing Topsail Footwork from BBPH last October, John Balko has certainly done his share of winning. This duo earned the L2, L3 & L4 Non Pro derby reserve championships at CNYRHA’s Itsa Bingo Greyhound derby in June and then followed up with the L3 Non Pro Derby championship in July at the MRHA Derby. Congratulations & wishing you and Topsail Footwork continued success.
July 28, 2013 – The RMRHA Summer Slide is typically the first time Brian “test drives” his futurity horses each year. He took two to Denver this year and made the finals on both of them. Footwork Revolution, a three year old stallion owned by Brian, won the first go round with a 225. Watch their run here. Thank you to the RMRHA, who all work so hard to put on the Summer Slide each year. It is one of our favorite events and we look forward to our trip to Denver each summer.
July 28, 2013 – Wimpys Showboat, owned by Amy Anderson, has been another consistent player on the Brian Bell Reining Horses team. He continued his winning streak at the RMRHA Summer Slide by capturing the win in the $4000 Open 7 Up Maturity class with a big score of 148. This fancy palomino also doubles as Amy’s Limited Non Pro mount. Brian took home the top two paychecks in this class as he was also earned second place with a 147.5 aboard Great Red Chex.
Great Red Chex

He came back on Thursday to post a 147.5 and place second in the $4000 7 Up Maturity with a score of 147.5. Thanks to MG Reiners for the opportunity to show this fancy stallion.
