Early this show season, it was evident that Brian was closing in on the Million Dollar Rider career marker and worked very hard to make it happen in 2013. It seemed appropriate that he achieved this goal at the last show of one his most successful show seasons in recent history. With two Level 4 Open Futurity finalists, Brian knew before he ever rode into the arena on Saturday night that he would be a Million Dollar Man by the end of the evening. On to the next Million!
The 2013 NRHA Futurity has come to a close but it was certainly an exciting ride! Brian qualified two entries for the Level 4 Open finals after two good runs on each horse in the go-rounds. He was the second highest composite rider in the Level 3 Open aboard Footwork Revolution (pictured above) with a 221.5 in the 1st go and a 223 in the 2nd go. Aboard Memorable Affair, owned by Wagner & Vandorp, he had a composite score of 438.
Although the finals didn’t go as well he had hoped, Brian was pleased with the performance of his horses all the same. Memorable Revolution placed 18th in the Level 3 finals and 25th in the Level 4 finals bringing home a check for $17,755 and Footwork Revolution placed 19th in the Level 3 finals and 26th in the Level 4 finals taking home $16,916.78. What a great way to close out an incredible show season!
Congratulations to Kay Gould and Sweet Pepto Nic on their 2013 North American Affiliate Prime Time Non Pro Championship during the NRHA Futurity & Championship show. Kay purchased this nice mare from Brian Bell Performance Horses and has continued to make her way to the winners circle this year. On her way to the NAAC title, Kay also earned the East Central Regional Affiliate Finals championship. Great job Kay!

The Senior Reining finals at the AQHA World Championship Show kept Brian quite busy. The fifteen horse finals was held on Saturday night and Brian finished with two horses in the Top Ten. Great Red Chex, owned by MG Reiners, placed sixth and Wimpys Showboat, owned by Amy Anderson, placed tenth. A big thank you to my owners for allowing me to continue showing this two super stallions!
